I live in a heavily wooded and deer inhabited area. There are documented cases of Lyme in the area also. How do I ever weigh the cost/benefit ratio here?? Soaps are rated by reviewrs higher and I can't think that with the freqency of bathing required and the entry of the soap into mouth and eyes they are much better.

I've used collars before and I dont see any benefit from them. I havent had much luck getting them to work and I am afraid the pets will chew on them since they play rough.
