Easy to use collar kills fleas and Lyme disease-carrying ticks for up to five months. Works even when wet. Do not allow children to play with this collar. Read entire label before each use. Use only on puppies. Directions For Use It is a violation of Federal law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling. Buckle collar around puppy's neck. Collar should fit snug enough to prevent placement of the puppy's leg or lower jaw through the collar, yet loose enough to be rotated about the neck. Generally, two or three fingers should fit between the collar and puppy's neck. Leave two to three extra inches on the collar for adjustment, cut off excess length and dispose of in trash. Check periodically and adjust fit if necessary, especially when puppies are rapidly growing. May be used in addition to regular collar. Replace collar when effectiveness diminishes. Storage and Disposal: Store in original unopened container away from children. Do not reuse container or reuse collar. Wrap and put in trash. What to Expect For Fleas: This Zodiac collar is designed to kill adult fleas. This collar starts killing fleas as soon as it is placed around puppy's neck. Protection against fleas will be achieved within a few days, providing continuous protection for up to five months. Replace collar every five months to help control flea infestations on your pet and in your home. Flea collars are not a good alternative for flea control. A flea collar can cause irritation and wounds to the skin. We have treated many serious skin conditions due to flea collars.

Pros: May control some fleas

Cons: Can harm your pet

Flea collars for puppies or dogs just don't seam to do the trick. I like the once a month applications better.
