North States Superyard Xt Gate Play Yard

I bought this product to add to my gate collection. Not to use it as a pen, but rather a gate. I am only using three sections at a time to block large doorways. Originally purchased to keep my puppy away from the Christmas tree...he didn't get a single ornament!!

Price is the lowest for anything of its type. Has a lot of flexibility in its use. Can see using it to partition my deck when I have company...keep the dogs with us, but not all over us if we eat outside.

While resizing it though a plastic hinge broke without overly stressing it. I can still use it the way it is as there is one good hinge and the other seems to stay in place.

Pros: lightweight, stores well, high enough to be effective

I loved this item as it is portable and could be put in an octagon or a retangle. I can also use only part of it and make a small square. It was a great place for keeping our puggles confined at night as my husband didn't want to put them in the kennel. The con is that though our kids are small 1 is a fantastic jumper and can hitch her front legs up there and pull herself up and she is over. So if you have a good jumper it won't keep small dogs in or on one side but if you have a non jumper it is the best thing EVER!

Pros: Easy set up, portable

Cons: Good jumpers can jump the pen
