The iRobot Roomba 532 Pet Series Vacuum Cleaning Robot make caring for a home with pets easier. The Pet Series robots come equipped with an extra set of easy to clean brushes, two interchangeable debris bins for trapping even more pet hair, kitty litter or dander and cleaning tools that ensure both sets of brushes remain free of debris for optimal performance. The high capacity sweeper bin holds three- and -a-half times more debris than the vacuum bin. Counter-rotating brushes reach deep into carpets to pull out pet hair, dander and more. Cleaning up to three standard-sized rooms on a single charge, it comes standard with two Virtual Walls that use infrared beams that creates and adjustable, invisible barrier that blocks Roomba from entering off-limit areas. When the cleaning is done, or the battery is running low, Roomba automatically locates and returns to its Home Base to dock and recharge. Roomba efficiently vacuums dirt, debris, pet hair, pet dander, dust, allergens and more from carpets and hard floors. Extra replacement filters ensure Roomba traps dust, pollen, pet dander and tiny particulate inside the bin. The Roomba 532 also includes iRobot's latest technological innovations, such as a light-touch bumper, stair sensing ability, advanced anti-tangle technology and the ability to transition from carpets to hard flooring with ease. Most pets are initially curious about Roomba but will quickly learn to ignore it-or even play with it. Special safety features help your pet safe: Stair-avoiding system, bump sensors and automatic shut-off so noses and paws won't be harmed if a curious pet flips Roomba over. You should run Roomba while you are at home for the first few cleaning cycles so your pet can get used to it. After that, you can let Roomba clean whether you're at home or on the go.

The iRobot Roomba Pet Series makes fur and mess cleanup a snap.

November 11, 2011 1:28 am | By Zootoo Editor CynthiaLo

As pet owners, we often wonder whether the time spent cleaning up after our pets could be better spent, say, playing with our pets. Wouldn’t it be nice to have a device that did the work of removing pet hair almost magically, while we were free to test out the latest catnip toy on our felines or play a lazy game of fetch with our pooch? Fortunately, with the iRobot Roomba Pet Series 532 Vacuum Cleaning Robot, that device has arrived.

Like the other robotic vacuums in the Roomba series, the iRobot Roomba Pet Series 532 Vacuum Cleaning Robot is easy to operate. Simply let the Roomba free to do its cleaning work, and the robot travels effortlessly around the rooms — in fact, the device even knows when to return to its charging base when the battery is running low.

Of course, if you’re already a fan of the Roomba, you may wonder whether it’s necessary to invest in the Pet Series version of the product. Depending on the model that you already own, you may find that the features of the iRobot Roomba Pet Series 532 Vacuum Cleaning Robot are worth the upgrade. And if you’re not already a Roomba user, you’ll appreciate such conveniences as two cleaning bins and a durable bristle brush (with an extra set of brushes to boot).

And as much as you may enjoy the extra time that the Roomba gives you to play with your pets, don’t be surprised if your curious pets spend more time playing with the iRobot Roomba Pet Series 532 Vacuum Cleaning Robot than with you. Either way, you’ll appreciate the cleaning power and convenience of this handy device.

Pros: Easy to use, convenient; effectively controls hair and other messes.

Cons: Expensive, although durable and convenient.

Zootoo and vacuum at the same time!

posted 6 years ago

My cats hate it, but I love it. I move all the magazine racks, cat beds, ottomans... and start up my Roomba. It's great to use on a daily basis helping to keep my home cleaner. It does a great job on picking up cat hair, litter that my kitties manage to get everywhere, dust and dirt. It works especially well on floors vs carpets. When it has finished vacuuming my hardwood floors, they are free of hair and dust and ready for me to mop. If your cat(s) like to sleep under the bed, this machine will easily go under the bed and take care of cleaning up the cat hair left behind. No more crawling on your hands and knees to vacuum under the beds.

Pros: Easy to use. Picks up well

Cons: Expensive

A fantastic intermittent housekeeper

posted 7 years ago

After years of cynicism and skepticism, I finally broke down and bought the Roomba for my 1/2 tile, 1/2 berber carpeted house. This little vacuum is a major time saver. It does a great job of doing light cleaning of debris on the floor. It's a little amazing to watch it traverse all over the house in its intricate little patterns. It will even drive itself back to home base when the charge gets low.

There are a few different styles of Roombas available, ranging from a basic little shop vac to one that will even wash your floors. You do have to make sure there isn't a lot of clutter on the floor, and occasionally my little vacuum will get stuck under the couch or lock itself in a small room. Those minor setbacks are no reason to decide not to get one.

Pros: Virtually no maintenance- just press the button and let it go

Cons: Can get stuck in certain places

Iams ProActive Health Multi-Cat Chicken & Salmon Cat Food

I have 3 cats and they love this food. They eat less and walk away with a full belly. Eating less means pooping less and less litter. All around a great choice for my cats.
