Crane's dog notecards allow you to proclaim your breed loyalty.

December 1, 2011 7:26 pm | By Zootoo Editor Flinn D.

For those dog lovers who are undyingly loyal to a specific breed, just about any product is available imprinted with that breed’s adorable (to them) face. Of course, that doesn’t mean that the product is of the same high quality as the breed itself. But the folks at Crane & Co. have created a line of breed-specific stationery that is as durable and lovely as our four-legged friends.

Whether you’re writing correspondence from your canine (perhaps a thank-you note or an invitation to a playdate at the dog run?) or just want to proclaim your love of dogs through the mail, the English Bulldog set of notecards is a lovely way to accomplish either goal. The representation on the front — a lithograph design — is classically and beautifully rendered.

And this particular breed is only one offering in the Crane & Co. line of dog stationery. The other selections — Jack Russell, French Bulldog, and Yorkie, to name a few — are just as adorable. Each set contains 10 folded notecards of well-made, white paper, with matching envelopes.

The one drawback to the company’s line of stationery is that only a handful of breeds are represented. Of course, many traditional favorites are included, but if you’re a fan of a more exotic breed, such as the Ibizan Hound or the Borzoi, you may have to lobby Crane & Co. for your own set of notecards. But if you’re an English Bulldog lover, for a retail price of about $13 per box, you can send off your letters in canine style.

Pros: Well-made, beautiful representations of breeds.

Cons: Not all breeds are represented.
