This book should be studied in grammar school! And a cope should be given with every dog sold or adopted. There are still some pretty ignorant owners out there.

This as with all "Dummies" books is easy to pick up and read. Lots of information in it and most of it is good common sense information.

I bought this as a gift when my nieces were getting their first dog. It's pretty basic stuff, but written well and with a touch of humor. I learned from it as well. (OK so I always read the book I'm giving as a gift before I give it away.)
