Bissell Little Green Portable Deep Cleaner

Have the original but later got this one. It's so good to have. I have the big regular shampoo machine but this is so handy for those smaller messes. I use it a lot when the weather damp too--some "old, old" stains will pop up and smell a bit. This freshens the ancient carpet right up again. Love this thing.

Overall, I like this product for contained stains and spills in a small area, or for areas that are hard to reach like stairs or furniture. I don't think that the heater really heats the water hot enough to be as effective as it could be.

I have found that it works better on carpet that is pre-treated with some other specialized stain remover. I primarily use it to clean up cat throw up on carpet. The older the carpet, the harder to clean, and the more times that I have to go back and re-clean. On my newer, beige carpet that is Scotchguarded, it works like a dream and you can't even tell something was spilled there.

I haven't found it to be great with getting rid of cat urine odors on carpet, but it does help. Any hint of remaining urine odor will only encourage the cat to eliminate there again.

I was impressed with how it handled stains, odors and dirt on sofa and chair fabric, although this cleaner does leave the furniture pretty saturated and wet. It has dried within 24 hours, and the pet odor smell was gone.

I only use the turbo, rotation brush as it has a cleaning solution application feature plus a reverse suction feature to suck up the dirty gunk. I find the other brush provided pretty useless for my applications.

The dirty water reservoir is small and can get full quickly, but this is meant to be portable and for small jobs. If the area cleaned has a lot of pet hair, it will tax the cleaner a bit and the turbo brush won't rotate as well or the suction feature won't suck up as well. For a really big job like cleaning an entire room, I will get out my Kirby shampooer, but that is real work.

Glad that I made the investment in this.
