Not very effective

I didn't like this style at all, it's hard enough to get them to sit still and then try to get this type of trimmer lined up right.

Pros: maybe ok for small nails and quiet dogs?

Cons: didn't work well, hard to use

Breaks the nail

these clippers since day one have bent and shredded rather than clipped the nail, not my fave

Pros: cheaper than most

Cons: dulls fast
