I have used these on my aunts chichua for the past few years and they have have worked great for me. Im the only one that the dog will let cut his nails and he stays fairly calm when I do them. THey do a good job of cutting but if a persons not carefully you could easily cut the quick.

My dogs don't always hold still, and this is a good cutter for them. Once I start to squeeze the handle, I know that the nail is "grabbed" and they can't stick the nail through the opening any more. That way I KNOW that I won't cut too deep. Great product.

This quality clippers is easy to use and very effective. I like the fact that it comes with an extra blade. The blood-stop powder did the trick when the dog squirmed at the wrong time. :(
