I just bought this nail trimmer a few weeks ago because I lost the old one I had. It works well on all of our dogs. I haven't tried it on the cat yet. One of our dogs has pretty thick nails, and this trimmer works well on him, too.

You don't have to use much pressure to trim the nail. It cuts the nail pretty smoothly. I've had others that left the nail all jagged and raggedy. This one does not do that. You cut the nail with one swift squeeze. The powder works well, in case you accidentally hit the quick of the nail. I had to use it once and it stopped the bleeding right away.

This is one of the less pricey trimmers, but it works really well.

I have always been afraid to clip my pets nails until I bought this product. It makes it very easy. The blade is extremely sharp, so the nails are smooth after cutting. You get an extra blade and the Styptic powder is case you ever need it. It will save you a lot of money by doing it yourself, and it is NOT PAINFUL for your pet.

Most of the nail trimmer brands are much alike. The big difference is in durability. These trimmers seem to have that quality.

I use these trimmers on both my dogs and my cat it's quick, easy, and leaves their nails smooth.

This is the only kind of nail clipper I've tried. I couldn't finish the job though because she kept squirming around. Plus she screamed like she was in pain even though there wasn't any blood. I like that they include that powder in case I did cut the quick though. I don't have anything against this clipper brand. I just can't handle clipping her toenails alone.
