Electric Nail Grinder Kit

We were a little hesitant to purchase a nail grinder after hearing mixed reviews from other pet owners.

We decided to finally try it and could not be happier. It does take longer to grind nails but it is nice to have smooth nails when you are done versus the sharp nails you have after you clip them with a clipper. It is also easier to stop grinding before you hit blood versus when you use a clipper and realize only too late that you have clipped too close.

We only use it on our small dogs since our larger dogs wear their nails down on their own so I could not tell you how well it does on larger nails.

Pros: Smooth nails

Cons: Slow

This scares the animals and takes to long to grind their nails down. That's a lot of time between each nail and the animals get very nervous and impatient. It's easy to just clip the nails and better for both the animal and groomer. I wouldn't recommend this product to groomers or really even pet owners. Just buy clippers and if you want to file some of the nail down after you clip, just buy a cheap file. The electric nail grinder kit isn't worth the money!
