Cons: little maintenance

Yes a litter is usually for cats but this one does just fine for preventing a mess on your new rug. This product is great for a young puppy that may have difficulty being house trained because of the frigid weather outside. From time to time depending on the pup, the dog will tend to track or even kick litter out onto the floor. But the product is overwhelming good. I recommend picking it up if your in need of saving a mess on the carpet, especially during the winter, when outside training isn't an option.

i think some dogs would take to this very easy... but i have an older dog who insists on peeing/pooing outside only (good for my house, bad when i'm gone). he would rather hold it than use this...
