These are what we use at the Shelter

posted 5 years ago

These slip leads, which for some reason you can't find in regular pet stores, are perfect for the Shelter. These are comfy and tough enough to handle the bigger dogs. Green, red, blue. Slim or thick. 4' or 6'.

Pros: choice of length

Cons: they disappear

Easy to use

posted 6 years ago

We have a good supply of these leashes at Little Shelter. They are good to use instead of the traditional leash with a choke collar. They are softer on the dogs neck as well as on my hands. They are my preferred style of leash but these particular leashes do fray after a while.

Pros: Easy to use

Cons: Frays after a while
