My best friend bought this for her Keeshond to get into their boat.

This works so well for cars and for boats. It is collapsible so it does not take up much room on the boat. Nonslip surface works great so the dogs don't slip and fall into the water.
Pros: Works VERY well for getting their dogs into their boat.

These things are great if you have a dog who's injured or elderly. Avoids a LOT of pain going up/down steps or into/out of a vehicle.
Pros: Comfort for an injured or older dog
Cons: Takes up space; not always easy to set up
