We get dog house donated to our shelter. We have 14 outside kennels that we use 3 seasons out of the years. The outside kennels are tarps and have dog house of some kind.

We have a couple of the Igloo Style Dog Houses. They are nice cause they are designed well. There is like a "neck or hall" back to the main part of the house. The "neck" part helps keep the dog out of any wind.

These are easy to clean with a bucket of bleach water, brush with handle and hose.

We do like these dogs house and do use them at the shelter. And if you had to keep a dog outside, this would be the house I would recommend.

I had a couple donated to me for my dogs. Yeah right, they would have put me in it. But I have a friend with out door kennels and she uses them. Her dogs, in the coldest of winter stay wrm in these. Their noses are warm, and they always come out to greet you. So if they have to stay out, give them a good quality shelter, to stay warm and dry.

We wondered if our daughter's two large dogs would even use this as we had read reviews where some dogs would not go in it. This was not the case. Her two 60+ pound dogs love it. They get in it together to stay warm on chilly nights. We have another dog house but they love this one.

Pros: Portable, easy to clean, keeps dogs warm

Cons: Pricey

The flap attachment is a must.

Pros: Dog loves it.

Cons: Water gets in the very front and collects in the small groove at the front of the igloo.
