Amazing for dog arthrists

posted 5 years ago

One of my dogs has really bad arthritis. It lays her out real bad sometimes. We started to give her Rymadil and it has worked wonders. Before she couldn't do the long walks and she was limping all the time but after the Rymadil she can take longer walks and not end up limping the rest of the night .

She takes it no problem. Just hold out the tablet and she eats it no problem. I don't even have to hide it in peanut butter.

I have two concerns with it though. The first is the cost. This stuff is so expensive, but it hard for me not to get it knowing how much better she feels. The second concern is if I keep giving it to her am I only making the problem worse by covering it up? Rymadil is not a cure its just like a pain medication. Is she only going to get more damage to her joints by running around when she shouldn't be?

Pros: Works amazing, easy to give to dogs

Cons: Very expensive

Rymadil let my Gretchen enjoy three more years

posted 5 years ago

Gretchen, my devoted German Shepherd had very bad arthritis. Oh those poor Shepherd's and their hips. She was 13 years old when she couldn't use her back legs anymore. I took her to the vet and there was very few options to try. The two vets were not very hopeful but having her put to sleep was out of the question for me at this time. I decided to take the risk and try the Rymadil. Well it was a very stressful few days until I watched Gretchen take just a couple of steps on all fours. I knew then she could and would do it. You could tell by the look on her face. Well she walked again and for three more years. She lived to be 16. We ended up carrying her outside the last few days of her life, but she died at home in her sleep. If it wasn't for Rymadil I don't think we would have had those last few precious years with her. She was one special dog.

Pros: helped my dog in many ways

Cons: can have severe side effects

I have 3 cats and they love this food. They eat less and walk away with a full belly. Eating less means pooping less and less litter. All around a great choice for my cats.
