We've used this product, and it seems to work for my youngest dog who has an undiagnosed problem with his knee, but it quit working for my older dog who has developed osteoarthritis. Still, it has its applications, and just for good measure we still give it to the older dog along with a prescribed tablet.
Pros: Chewable, somewhat effective
Cons: Expensive
