Made my dog gain weight

posted 5 years ago

I'm not sure why, but our pit/boxer. Since she had been off of it, she has lost weight. Although I do know that if her poop was mushy, this helped made it solid - but at times she would get constipated while on this - so we try to use it more sparinglly. And yes, we did follow the instructions on the label

Pros: Helped with dry skin

Cons: weight gain

Very good nutritional value

posted 5 years ago

This is a very high quality whole food supplement that supplies omega 3 fatty acids which are good for skin/coat, immune system, joints and the whole body. It is a flax meal based product so it does need refrigeration once opened. They make it for cats or dogs and also has a glucosamine formula in addition to the regular formula. Great stuff, recommended by my vet.

Pros: mixes well with wet food

Cons: needs refrigeration (no big deal)
