So beware that you are not using this to increase or decrease the insulin you are giving. That should be done after getting an exact blood sugar reading. I think these would be great to use if you have an animal that has an increased risk of being diebetic so the owner knows at home when that occurs and then can seek treatment with their vets.

These are a good way to check your pets urine glucose from time to time but i have found they are not really accurate, especially if you don't read them fairly quickly after the animal has urinated because they get darker as they sit. But as for as ease of use they are great.
