Whats not to like?

posted 5 years ago

I absolutely could not do without this stuff. I have unfortunately had several injuries on my horse over the years that have required wrapping legs. Horse legs can be quite hard to keep a bandage up on. The key is to use elastikon to keep the wrap in place.
I have used it over Vetrap and also by iteslf and found that I could usually get away with just using the elastikon at the upper end of the bandage, although I did use a whole elastikon wrap on Draol's leg after her knee surgery.

Pros: the best for holding up bandages on horses

Cons: price

Best I have found at holding on bandages..

posted 5 years ago

This works great for holding gauze or other dressings in place to protect cuts and other injuries. I tried other brands and they do not work nearly as well. It stretches and breathes. It stayed in place well, but I had no trouble removing it when I wanted to take it off.

Pros: sticks well; allows skin to breath

Cons: none

Very Sticky

posted 5 years ago

We use this on occasion at the clinic, it is very sticky and adheres to itself which eliminates the need for tape. The only thing I don't like about it is that it is difficult to remove from hair if it get on the hair.

Pros: Sticks to itself, no need for tape

Cons: expensive
