3 steps to clean ears, overkill!

Now a days, people are looking for quick fixes for us and our pets. Why would I use a product that needs THREE steps to work, when something like Epi Otic works in just one. I don't like this because of all the steps and the added price for extra products. Just give me one thing to use, and I'm happy.
Pros: can prevent ear infections
Cons: why 3 steps when I can get it done in one?
