Put a harness on your dog, clip the Batzibelt to the harness, and the other end of the Batzibelt to the included seat belt clip. That's it! This is probably the easiest of the various securing mechanisms we've tried.

I've used this for years with my dogs and it works to provide safety when fastened to your regular passenger seat belt and your dog's harness. If you have a bigger dog who pulls and jumps around, I use a child seat belt safety clip from Toys R Us for about $3 to keep the seat belt from being extended. But for a calmer dog, the Batzi is great on it's own. In sumer, I have a Mazda convertible and it allow my 22 pound terrier to ride free and stand up or put his paws on the door and feel the wind in his face. He loves it and I know that if we stop fast, he won't go flying or be injured. And he can't jump out as I'm driving. But he can stand or lay down with ease. It's great! Comes in different sizes for small or large dogs.

My dogs are always all over the car, sometimes even getting on the dash- not good. I take tham with me 95% of the time wherever I go, so this will come in handy. The dogy seatbelt I bought did no good, they chewed right through it.
