My model must be an older one bc it doesn't look like the one in the photo. But I have had mine for a few years and it still works great. It has a guard on it which is a guide, but you can't rely on that bc it can allow you to cut too much. I have one dog that has really thick nails and this thing does the job just fine.
Pros: durable, works well
