Pet Head Feeling Flaky Dry & Sensitive Skin Dog Shampoo
(4 out of 5)
Pet Head Feeling Flaky returns dry coats to their original luster.

Feeling Flaky Dry and Sensitive Skin by Pet Head is a wonderful grooming product especially formulated for dogs with scalp problems. At first I did a double take at this product—has it really come to this? But then I thought… well, yes. People have specialized shampoos, why not pets?
So if your pooch has a dandruff problem that makes him self-conscious at the dog park, pick up some pet head and he’ll be confident again in no time. In test-driving this product I tried it on our reviewer dog Frenchie. The shampoo was quite effective at cleaning his scalp and returned his coat to its original luster and shine.
The Pet Head formula is packed with Yucca and Chamomile Extracts that add vital moisture and nutrients to your pet’s coat. The shampoo is also reinforced with shea butter and vitamins that are specially formulated to add moisture to dry dog scalps. Since Pet Head is recommended by veterinarians for pets with sensitive skin you don’t have to worry about the shampoo producing any undesired effects such as over-moisturizing.
Don’t have any illusions that Pet Head is an all-natural product – it contains numerous additives – but I didn’t see any names that jumped off the list as harmful or dangerous.
Bottom line: if you’re concerned about your pet’s flaky scalp, Bed Head could be just the product for you—and your dog.
Pros: Effective in moisturizing dog scalps.
Cons: Not entirely all-natural.
