I thought I could groom my own dog :(

I have a big Chow mix dog. For many years I have had him shaved in the summer. He is an indoor dog and he has really bad hair days. He also brings half of the good old outdoors into the house everytime he comes in. I bought this product and thought I would shave him myself to save money. It is expensive to have a big dog shaved. After hours of labor, a back ache, and a hidious looking dog I know now that groomers for him earn their money and then some.
Pros: Great product if you know how to use it
Cons: I didn't know how to use it
