i use this product alot at the shop and great on long hair cats but this is a product that should be left to the professionals, it will bald an animal if used to much

This is a really good tool for those dogs that have an under coat. Any time i had to groom one of those breeds at the animal hospital it was the first thing i grabbed. Keep running the water on the dog while your brushing and watch the results. You get a ton of loose fur out without the mess. This is the best tool I've ever used on those breeds.

I have 2 of these, the small one and the largest one that they have. They work great! Using them on a Chow Chow with a very thick undercoat.

I love these tools on Collies and Samoyed and other thick coated breeds. The blades cut right through mats. However if not used properly you can cut a dog with this tool. Also the blades after time will become dull.

Cons: cost, blades can get dull
