We use one of these in our Spay/Neuter Clinic to clip the abdomens of the female cats and dogs before surgery and although it hasn't held together all that well (had to be taped together) it was worth the price for the amount of use we have gotten out of it.

Good for occasional clipping

The cordless clippers are nice and portable, but I don't recommend them for all-day use (groomer, busy surgery practice). The batteries, as with all rechargeable batteries, don't hold a charge after they get older.
Pros: no cord
Cons: older batteries don't hold charge as well
