This comb works great when you use it in conjunction with a good bristle brush. The comb helps to insure that all tangles are out of your pet's hair. I use this on my lhaso apso, after brushing with a wire bristled brush. The two sides are perfect for making sure that his hair is silky smooth and no matts are begining to form. The only con to this comb would be if you happen to come across a small tangle. It can pull on your pet's hair/skin, if you find a small knot. As long as you take it slow, this comb is great!

I use this product on Gracie. It moves easily through the fur and is lightweight. Gracie does not like to be groomed, but she has learned to tolerate the process. I love the fact that there are coarse and fine bristles.
