Very good tool for removing loose hair and mats from long-haired breeds.

Pros: Gets rid of mats

Cons: If used wrongly could hurt dog

The problem is that this cannot help shedding and if the mats are too large, you are probably better off cutting - carefully - them off.

Pros: Excellent for removing mats

Cons: Some dogs hate when you make the attempt
