This comb does get rid of flea debrees and will catch fleas but I use it and recommend it for the daily eye care of the little long haired dogs that need daily care of the fur under the eyes to prevent the red tear stains on their fur. Not all dogs are prone to this but the ones that are can get stains so bad it looks gross. Also all dogs with long hair need this care to prevent build up of debree and gunk.

This combs small size makes it easy to get into this delicate area and doesn't make the dog nervous. It's difficult with larger combs especially will a squirmy dog.

Wash the area with warm water then gently comb out. Make sure to clean and dry the comb after each use.

Works great on puppies with short hair to determine if there are any fleas. Will also remove fleas as the comb passes through the hair. This comb also helps to eliminate loose hair and our puppy loves the attention of getting when he is being combed.
