We made the mistake of purchasing two other clippers that were worthless. Both worked for about one hour in total before the blades were dull. Don't waste your money on the little clippers--get this one. The blade stays sharp, the motor doesn't overheat right away, it's very durable. Wish we had purchased Andis first.

Simply trim one dog with a common brand "off the shelf" and compare it with the Andis. The difference is night and day. You will not be disappointed with the Andis clipper.
