Perfect Coat’s Clear Choice Detangling and Grooming Spray is a simple yet effective product that you can use on your dog whenever his coat gets matted. You can also use it to prevent future tangling. Made from water and Aloe Vera gel, the spray is formulated to smooth and coat individual strands of your dog’s hair and make them easier to comb through.
Once you have dampened the hair, use your usual comb or brush to work out the mats and clumps until your dog’s coat returns its lustrous and fresh condition. The spray can be used on either wet or dry coats — making it the ideal spray to use on your pet when he comes back from a walk on a hot day, or after a bath.
The spray works just as well on dogs with short hair as it does on dogs with long hair as I found out when I used it on my French bulldog. I was nervous that the formula might be too harsh for his scalp, but I was pleasantly surprised when I discovered the effect the formula had on him – basically, the product allowed the hairs that he was ready to shed to be lifted out easily with a grooming glove.
As with any formulated spray, make sure that you aim away from their eyes and monitor the amount of formula you are using on their fur – you don’t want to excessively dampen or the product can cause irritation.

Cons: As with all sprays, overuse can cause irritation.
