Freshpet Select Slice & Serve Rolls feature top-quality ingredients with a taste dogs devour.

June 30, 2011 5:06 pm | By Zootoo Editor Ashley W.

Like all of Freshpet Select products, the Slice & Serve rolls are made from the finest ingredients. The Freshpet Select Slice & Serve product line is made from fresh meats, high-fiber brown rice, and vegetables full of valuable nutrients. The Slice & Serve rolls are made in a variety of flavors for both adult dogs as well as puppies.

I fed our tester dog the Chunk chicken, turkey, vegetable, and rice recipe. She seemed very pleased with the product. At times, she can be a finicky eater but that’s never a problem when it comes to Freshpet Select products.

As a bonus, the Slice & Serve rolls are convenient. You simply cut off a slice using the provided “serving marks”. I covered the open end with plastic wrap and the product remained fresh in the refrigerator for 7 days. Freshpet does suggest using the product within 7 days. They also warn against freezing the product for best results.

Freshpet Slice & Serve rolls are available in two sizes (1.5LB and 3LB) for homes with multiple dogs or larger dogs. This particular dog food meets all of the nutritional levels established by the AAFCO Dog Food Nutrient Profiles for All Life Stages. And it’s apparent why. This product is made from simple and healthy ingredients. Chicken, turkey, eggs, poultry liver, chicken broth, carrots, brown ride, peas, rice bran, carrageenan, salt, and natural flavors are the only ingredients Freshpet puts in their Slice & Serve rolls. There are also many valuable vitamins and minerals, which every dog can benefit from.

Pros: : Dogs love the taste; top-quality ingredients are completely natural.

Cons: None.

Great food

posted 5 years ago

My Rags was given the old age remark at 15 and the vet basically told me 2 or three months. I switched him to this food and I saw more energy more responses from him, well he lived two years longer then he should have. Also showed more energy and his mind lightened up. wish this food would of been around years ago. The vet had no explanation why he lived or did so good. I think this is the best food ya could feed your pooch!!!

Pros: very nutritious

Cons: none

I have 3 cats and they love this food. They eat less and walk away with a full belly. Eating less means pooping less and less litter. All around a great choice for my cats.
