Freshpet Select Slice & Serve Puppy Chicken, Vegetable & Rice Recipe

Like all of the products in the Freshpet Select line, the Slice & Serve Puppy rolls are formulated from the highest quality ingredients. Growing dogs can benefit from the product’s fresh meats, high-fiber brown rice, and nutrient-rich vegetables.

For our tester trial, I used the Chicken, Vegetable and Rice recipe, similar to the adult formula, but made to meet nutritional standards for growth. Our young four-legged reviewer seemed more than satisfied with her meal – and although she can be an overly discerning eater at times, she eagerly gobbled up the Freshpet Select.

Puppy owners will also appreciate the convenience of the Slice & Serve rolls. Simply lop off a slice – using the helpful “serving marks” as guides. Then cover the open end with plastic wrap, allowing the roll to stay fresh in the refrigerator for up to 7 days. Although the directions warn against freezing the product for best results, this shouldn’t be a problem if your puppy enjoys the roll as much as ours.

Of course, the best aspect of the Freshpet Slice & Serve rolls are their simple and healthy ingredients. Chicken, turkey, eggs, chicken liver, chicken broth, carrots, brown rice, peas, rice bran, carrageenan, salt, and natural flavors are the only ingredients Freshpet puts in their Slice & Serve rolls. And that’s a list that any growing puppy can benefit from.
