My animals love having fresh filtered water from the petmate fountain. It is usually very quiet and easy to use. Once in a while it starts sucking up air and makes noises. I have to fiddle with it for awhile to get it to stop. I really don't know what causes it.

My dogs like water refilled directly from the fridge's dispenser. A friend bought me one as a gift as a result. I've only used it a few times due to location and need for an electrical outlet. When I do have it out, my dogs do seem to like the fresheness of the water and are fun to watch as they observe the 'bubbling!'
