Trouble with rubber grip

I bought one of these as a water dish for outside. The rubber wore through quickly but even with out that the dish is still steady and holds a good amount of water. I like that it is easy to clean unlike my od plastic bowl that would tip and stain.
Pros: Good for outside
Cons: rubber grip wears easily
