This feeder is great for those times when you go out to dinner or something and the kitty still gets fed on time. Just set the timer to the time you want it to open and it will. My cat had trouble with overeating so this worked to allow portion controlled meals at the right time.

this is a really ingenious idea and is really great when I don't want to bother the neighbors for one day if we go to a town a few hours away for the night.

This is so great because the food is not available all at one time like some of the dispensers are, but you can rest easy knowing they will be fed.
