Petmate Fresh Flow Purifying Pet Fountain

This thing is good, but not great. My five cats love the free flowing water, but the filters get clogged up very quickly. I probably go through a filter every 3 weeks. Initially, cleaning it was a breeze. I've had this for a couple of years, and now, it is much harder to clean. I know, I sound ultranegative, but my only worry really is whether my cats use and like it. Well, they do, so I rate it a "4"!

I bought this fountain so I wouldn't have to keep turning the bathroom sink on for kitty...it worked for a while, but the sink is still much better to drink out of apparently. But he does use the fountain too. I have had problems with it running out of water too fast-it seems like I'm always pouring water in it- but maybe that's just because I only notice it when it runs low and starts to make noise. Otherwise it is very quiet. It also seemed for a while that the water wasn't coming out of the reservoir tank-thing, but that problem has seemed to resolve itself. It's a pain to clean, but not too bad, overall an ok product for running water for pets, although if I were going to but one again I would probably spring for one of the more expensive ones that is hopefully a little better made.

Pros: Provides running water for pets

Cons: Leaks at seams in places and runs empty very fast.
