These are the absolute BEST dog bowls!

Indoor dogs can benefit from a pest-free bowl, too. Living in the south, we have a lot of crawling insects, such as ants, that can ruin feeding time even indoors.

With this design, they are unable to enter the bowl at all! The design is ingenious and I won't ever willingly use another dish to feed my dogs.

As long as the dish isn't in direct contact with an adjacent wall or other furniture that a crawling insect can climb, your pet food and/or water are safe.

The main downside to the dishes is the (un)availability. I searched every pet store in the area before giving up, doing an online search, and buying from an online distributor. The only other "con" is that pet hair sometimes collects in the crevice underneath but that's easily washed off, blown away, or sucked up with the vacuum.

It's not often that I need to have dog food outside, but on the rare occasion that I do, this is the bowl for that purpose.

Because of the design, ants can't get into the dish keeping the dog food cleaner longer.

I love this bowl and am so glad that we found it. Katie is one of those dogs who eats while pushing the bowl across the floor, and it drives me crazy. This bowl is a lot harder for her to push, and we have never seen any bugs. Every once in a while we gets ants, and I am always worried that they will get in her food. Now I have less to worry about, and a lot less of the bowl scooting noise at dinner time.

Love this product. Indoors or out, this product is great. No creepy bug invasion into the food or water and it doesn't move all over the floor. Great product, durable and a great price.
