I love having cute dog treats. I had a small collection at one time. But I learned the hard way that ceramic and dogs don't mix. The dogs got so excited once when I was getting treats out of the dog house that they jumped up, hit my arm, I dropped the lid and it broke.

So I try to buy plastic or stainless steel treat containers. I do still have a couple cermanic holders, but they are put up and we use them for display only.

I have one of these but no longer use it for treats. I thought it was so cute when I got it and I used it for a while but while the lid does have a rubber thing to make it tight, it wore out after some use. Then the treats didn't stay as fresh and in SC we have so much moisture, tight seals for moisture and bugs is so important. Now it just sits on the shelf for decoration but is very cute nevertheless.

I love this treat jar! I can't get over how cute it is, and I love the fact that it keeps the treats fresh. I don't have to worry about boxes or bags of treats anymore I just put the treats in here and it's done. My dogs know when they hear it opening that it's treat time! :)
