Good puppy food
posted 5 years ago
I rescue different size puppies and this food is great for all of them, especially not knowing exactly what size they will turn out. They all seem to love it, and it is small enough for little mouths to handle. It also has DHA (docosahexaenoic acid), the fatty acid important for neural development in puppies.
Pros: good size kibble
Cons: none

Average

Average is my review
-- additional:
[updated on 2007-12-29 17:38:57]:
I think it is average because it is nothing special, but if it is the only option it is for sure not "bad". It is a good food that with some tune ups could be great. It is a little too high in cal, but some more nutrients and natural products could be a good addtion.
Pros: Its an average food
Cons: not totally good product in it

Puppy love
posted 5 years ago
I love Iams for the puppies, less input less output if you know what I mean. The puppires really seem to like the taste of the food. Even the pick eaters will eat Iams
Pros: I like the bite size
Cons: none

This from healthy start small breed Puppy food that we used on our dogs. It is average food, but there are better ones out there. The by-products are not good for dogs...
Pros: small bites, better nutrients for puppies, easy to purchase
Cons: bag does not seal, additivies and by products.

Good when you can not get to the pet store
posted 5 years ago
This is always my choice as a back up if I find a puppy or run out, or am just to lazy to hit the petstore for dog food. You are still getting quality, just hard to find in big bags at anything but the mass pet stores
Pros: easy to get
Cons: P&G
