Travel Bowl

posted 5 years ago

I'm trying to review a slightly different bowl than the one zootoo thinks I'm writing about, when you see the photo you will see what I mean.

I like this collapsible water bowl. We keep it in Murphy's travel bag along with her toys and other essentials. Any time we'll be out of the house for a while, we bring it with us. We can fill it from a water fountain or a water bowl.

It is especially good on a hot summer day, but actually dogs need water in any weather, especially if they are active.

You should only use this bowl for water, not food. It is a very thin plastic, and if a dog was aggressively eating food, I'd be worried that he could bite into the plastic. But it's good for water, because dogs lap up water, they don't use their teeth.

Murphy loves this water bowl and gets very possessive of it. You'll see, if it lets me add a picture, that she puts her arms around the bowl so no one can take it from her.

Pros: lightweight, easy to carry, good to have on hand

Cons: may be too lightweight - use only for water, not food.
