We used this for our first dog, Lassie, when I was a kid. It's been around a long time. While the bowls are easy to clean, you may have to take a toothbrush to gets dried on food out of the metal framework. I prefer ceramic bowls.

Our cats use one of these. It is nice to have the dishes off of the floor. It doesn't hold alot, but i like to put fresh water in often.

We use these at work for the cats and kittens. The kittens can easily tip the bowls when they are playing. They spill out their food and water a lot. The bowls are easy to remove and clean. They are also very durable.

These are great bowls and they are harder to tip over than regular bowls. They do rattle a little when the dog is using them but it's better than having wet feet when the water gets dumped over. I have also had them for 6 years and are still as nice as the day I bought them.
