I loved this product, with a few a few caveats.
The timer is a bit complex, but once you get the hang of programing it, you can feed at different and several times every day of the week, and vary the amount fed if you want. The timer has a battery back-up in case of a power outage: Your pet will not go hungry. On the down-side, my piggy cat found a way to stick her paw up inside the feeder and pull out food a little at a time. She also chewed off the plastic cover that was meant to prevent that. We ended up putting a wire "cage" around the dispenser to prevent her from doing that. Make sure you measure the food you wish to dispense before ordering, as the size does matter.
