And -- as a word to the wise -- Sentry Natural Defense Squeeze-On has a rather strong odor so I highly recommend waiting until you're out of your automobile before applying it.

How well does it work? Great. If you're familiar with Sentry's other products, you won't be surprised with the ease and efficiency of this one. Simply pull the tab that opens the small tube while holding your pet with one hand, then gently apply the solution to the area between your dog's shoulder blades making sure that it works its way down below the hair and finds the scalp.

Sometimes dogs react to the cold sensation, so be careful that you've worked the solution in. And this is why you apply it to the shoulder blade, so that your pet can't ingest it. Be careful to keep it away from the eyes and mouth -- this goes for humans as well as dogs. And you'll want to be sure not to bathe your dog within 24 hours after contact with Sentry Squeeze-on.
