You should have this on hand to clean open wounds. The first time it was given to me, it was for wounds from Oreo attaching Sunchi years ago. We had some issues with this and although these incidences weren't frequent, they still caused some damage. You want to make sure you keep the wound clean. I actually know a dog that almost died due to a staff infection for an improperly cared for wound. He was in intensive care for three weeks. So don't fool around with a wound. Get your dog on antibiotics and use this externally.
