for the price i would recomend this gate before people would try the more expensive ones

This sounds like something I could use at the shore to keep my dog on the porch. I want something I can use both inside and outside.

I really like this gate to contain my dog and toddler. It wasn't over priced like many and is easy to remove. However, because it is a top of the stairs gate it must be securely mounted so I did use my drill and screws. It would not be good for a destructive chewing dog as it is wood.

Pros: inexpensive basic gate

Cons: may not be good for destructive chewers
