Nutro Crunchy Treats are a fiber-packed, natural way to reward your dog.
September 3, 2010 6:32 pm | By Zootoo Editor Flinn D.
Crunchy Treats, by Natural Choice, are dry treats made with natural and wholesome ingredients such as real apple, whole brown rice and oatmeal. Their dry, crunchy texture is great at cleaning teeth and improving dental health. Something that Crunchy Treats doesn’t have is the usual fillers used in other dried dog treats such as wheat or corn syrup.
Unfortunately, present and accounted for, right alongside all these delicious natural ingredients, are common preservatives like tocepherals, pyrodexine and glycol. But as I’ve pointed out before, it’s virtually impossible to make an edible dog treat stay fresh for days at a time without using some sort of preservative and these are pretty minor offenders all things considered.
Crunchy Treats have a tough exterior and a rich, savory taste that dogs love. Better still, chewing them helps to clean teeth. Because of the small size, Crunchy Treats are perfect for rewarding your pet multiple times throughout the day. They are also a great source of energy for your dog because they are packed with protein and natural sugars that will keep him humming whether he’s on a play date or at an intense training session.
As with any treat, it’s important not to use Crunchy Treats in place of a meal. They are intended to be used as a delicious reward for a job well done or as a way of expressing your endless affection for Fido. The whole grains that Crunchy Treats contains are healthy for your dog’s digestion and provide much needed natural fiber that is rare in dog treats.
Pros: Natural ingredients, packed with fiber; small size makes them perfect for training.
Cons: A few preservatives, but great healthy ingredients overall.

Good Snacks
posted 4 years ago
I bought these because I thought anything that was gluten free should be okay for my dog since gluten is a source of problems for a lot of people too. He likes them and they are small, so he doesn't get "filled up on snacks" when he earns a treat.
Pros: dog eats them
Cons: unknown
