Fetch!
posted 4 years ago
My nephews standard poodle is extremely active and loves to play fetch. Playing fetch with a tennis ball is a good way to help run off some of that extra enery, help keep his weight down and just keep him healthy overall.
Pros: Inexpensive, helps to keep dog active
Cons: none

Just plain fun!
posted 4 years ago
(Most) Dogs love to chase tennis balls. A fun gift for a neighbor dog -- as you can never have too many tennis balls!
The name brand tennis balls (Wilson, etc.) are often a bit more expensive than the non-branded type. However, they will last longer and therefore be safer for your dog.
Can be purchased at sporting goods stores and/or discount department stores (i.e. Target, K-Mart). You can sometimes find them in the "seasonal" area of your local grocery store, as well.
Pros: Easy to find
Cons: None
