I bought this back pack so that Jack would have a job to do and burn off some of his excess energy. He seems to know that when I put it on him he is going to get to go for a walk or that we are going someplace.

The straps that hold the pack in place are adjustable and the pack can be used on a variety size of dogs.

I usually put water in each side of the pack so that he has some weight. Jack weighs about 75 lbs so I ad no more than 10 lbs of extra weight to the pack.

By adding weights to the backpack, my dog gets an extra work-out when we go for our walks. She doesn't seem to mind wearing it, in fact, when she sees me get the backpack out, she gets very excited. It also works great if you go camping with your dog. This way they can carry their own food and water.
